A start

I have never thought of myself as a journalist, nor a writer. So, forgive me for my amateur writings starting now.

I am probably not a perfect person, but, what always has been implanted in me is sturdy faith. Faith that holds you up at times of throbbing down and it is comparable to the well-known Yin and Yang of the world. Although, they are indeed two opposite polar, they seem to be incomplete without each other. One might exclaim that “This is life!” – Life is filled with alternate ups and downs. An inevitable truth that all of us dread to hear, either from others or even yourself. You wish to be omnipotent for at least a day to make things work just how you fancy them to be. But, do you have it? Are you omnipotent yet? Could you do it? You try to search for incredible ways to anticipate your route and future. However, this is indeed life. It is unexpected, unpredictable and somehow infatuated with rending everything in it – one impious mind might think.

A pang of sardonic claim might impetuously rise and make you wonder: Have you ever been in a situation where you stand still, lips ajar but speechless and frozen in time? On a twisting note, your heart remains beating itself, but it pounds faster whilst challenging itself with the unbeatable SR-71 Blackbird. Have you been in that indescribable yet remarkable place? It is in fact mocking you for supposing that life goes on just how you command it to be. You are the commander but neither with a prayer nor a mere decent request. Why does it involuntarily happen? Rivers don’t always flow in anticipated directions or in ways you would like them to be. Cruel irony occurs and says “This is life!” Thus, when this happens, you become cold and solid – frozen with the surprises that life holds before you.

But still, you hold your hopes high and list down all of your wishful dreams and desires. Whether they are your wants to be legally tied to your partner in 5 years time, or wishing your angelic mother to sit there and watch you to be the happiest bride in the world, and then become an inexperienced youthful mother. Before all of these, let’s rewind back in time where you hope for her to be proudly there at your graduation. Nevertheless, one thing remains at the back of your enchanted mind. Would your wishes come true amid the spasm of impediments in life and able to get through it all and finally be momentarily happy? You have nothing to do but wait and live your life with devout mind and faith. They keep you warm, not frozen in time.
